What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?
Mentoring young adults, encouraging environmental awareness and working with young adults to achieve their personal dreams. Traveling and experiencing different cultures is a personal favorite because it makes you aware of how diversity, blended with understanding, allows harmony in the world.
What is your career ambition?
To become an entrepreneur in three arenas of business; to design my own clothing and accessory line in the fashion industry, create a signature Beauty salon/spa boutique where the body, mind and spirit are nurtured, and to open "haute couture" restaurants blending international cuisines.
What is your proudest personal accomplishment?
Graduating high school at age 16 (I was very driven, with over a 4.3 gpa) and experiencing the diverse educational background of the Bahamas, USA and Canada.
What is something unique that has happened to you; some interesting thing about you?
While working with the children's program, "Youth in Action", I realized how powerful hope is. Watching the children transform from a world of negativity to becoming motivated, determined and happy touched me. Just a simple hug or conversation brought joy to their eyes and to see how hopeful they have become reminded me how we can all make a positive impact in children's lives by a simple gesture of kindness.
What do you want the judges to know about you?
I see Miss Universe, and being an ambassador for my country, as more than a title but as a commitment I make to bringing awareness to charitable causes and mentor ship and leadership for our youth. One voice, one commitment for a united purpose.
